Race Director

Coach Daniel Vaz is Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), National Strength & Conditioning Association ( NSCA), USA.
He is Certified Ironman Coach, Ironman.U (USA) Coach Vaz is a head Coach with THE NIKE RUN CLUB, India since 2008, Coach for Ultra-runners for distances up to (100 Miles) 160K.
Further Coach Daniel Vaz is the Race Director for the Mumbai Ultra 12 hrs Run, Race Director for Mangaluru Beach Triathlon. Lastly he is “Ask the Coach” on PROCAM’ SCMM, TCS 10K, Nike, Fast n Up, GRM

Satish Gujaran
Race Ambassador

Satish Gujaran started his running journey 2004 in Durban, South Africa, with a simple goal to quit smoking. For five challenging years, he juggled running and smoking before quitting for good in 2009, inspired by Inner Engineering yoga.
Running soon became his passion, leading him to complete the Comrades Ultra Marathon (90 km) 14 consecutive times, making him the only Indian to achieve this feat.
Over time, this journey evolved into a profession. Through city-to-city runs, he has raised funds for underprivileged children’s education and had the privilege of meeting people from all walks of life, including celebrities and spiritual leaders like Sadhguru and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

Roshni Rai
Founder of Run With Roshni Foundation / Organiser Of Kalimpong Ultra Marathon

Roshni Rai is an Advocate, Notary, Mediator, the ultra marathon runner, a motivational speaker and an Author. Her book ‘From the Mountain to the Ocean Run with Roshni’ is published from Mumbai in September 2015. She is a Goodwill Ambassador of Everest marathon for India.
Roshni is a founder of ‘Run with Roshni Foundation’ through which, she is supporting underprivileged Gorkha runners from the hills of Darjeeling and Kalimpong to run marathons in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Shillog since the year 2012. Despite being a non athlete during her school days, she could graduate from running 10km to 100km, which Roshni attributes to her Gorkha genes, who are physically very strong due to the geographical locations in which they grow up. She says, if the Gorkha kids get proper guidance from the right age, they have the potential to become world class runners and compete with the Kenyans and Ethiopians.
Vision of ‘Run with Roshni Foundation’ is to create a team of Gorkha runners, who will win Olympic Marathon for India, which will ultimately help to eliminate the identity crisis faced by Indian Gorkhas. In every marathon, they participate, her team, wears t-shirts with slogan- WE ARE GORKHAS PROUD TO BE INDIAN. JAI GORKHA JAI HIND!
